Reflecting on Last Year's Feature in Smart Meetings

As we move through 2024, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on and reshare an exciting feature from last year. On June 30, 2023, I was honored to be included in Smart Meetings' article '“Smart Speakers: Performative Experiences.”

Looking back, I'm still humbled by the recognition and grateful for the opportunity to discuss my passion for creating magical experiences in the corporate world. The article highlighted some of my career milestones, including my work with the Magic Castle, my tenure as Artist in Residence at the Smithsonian, and my role as TEDx San Francisco's Resident Magician.

In the feature, I shared my perspective on what truly creates "magic" in a corporate setting - it's not just about tricks, but about understanding your audience, connecting deeply, and going above and beyond expectations. I also discussed how I adapted during the challenging times of the pandemic, creating a home studio to deliver virtual presentations globally.

As we continue to evolve in how we engage and inspire audiences, I find myself often referring back to the insights shared in this article. They serve as a reminder of how far we've come and the endless possibilities ahead.

If you missed it last year or would like to revisit the piece, I encourage you to check out the full article on the Smart Meetings website. It's a great snapshot of where we were in mid-2023 and the principles that continue to guide my work today.

Thank you all for your continued support. Here's to creating more magical moments in 2024 and beyond!
